DID YOU KNOW THAT THERE IS MOON POWER?
The moon has a gravitational pull on the Earth and especially on it's
water. This pull is what causes the high and low tide in all oceans
and rivers. Underground electric turbines have been designed and
tested and they are now available. There are basically two types of
propeller or turbine blades. One is fixed and one automatically
adjust with the ebb and flow of the water. The fixed blade generator
would be ideally suited for rivers whose current never changes direction.
The adjustable blade generator continues to spin in the same direction
when the current reverses as it does in a harbor inlet likes those in New
York City. As the current reverses, so do the blades which keep the
generator spinning in the same direction at all times. The ocean
waves that have eroded a coast line into huge rocks are often ideally
suited to build a ocean elevator generator. Using the same principal
as the river blade generator, think of an elevator built into the side of
the rock wall. As the water rolls in it raises the floor of the
elevator. As it recedes the floor is sucked down. This
produces a wind tunnel in the elevator shaft above the floor. The
wind turbine generator has reversible fans that reverse in a micro second
so that the generator continues to spin in the same direction at all
times. As long as the ocean continues to work, these generators will
produce a viable low cost of pure electric energy.
